Today is Holy Thursday, the first day of Triduum. Easter is a mere three days away. Are you preparing?

Here is a reflection in the Easter story by my youngest, age 5:

“Easter is when they took God, put him on a cross, and he died. Then they took him down, wrapped him up real tight, and put him in a cave, where he dissapeared. He came back, and that is Easter.”

He also made a craft to accompany this story. He had made a cross in preschool out of foam. He then asked his artistic father to draw Jesus as if he were on the cross. Dad did, J. cut it out and added small marking on the hands, feet, and side of Jesus (”God”). Youngest son then glued “God” to the cross and added a rolled up paper stick. He calls it his “God on a Cross on a Stick”. I will try to add a pic later - it is so worth it!
